The HEC Microgrid website is now live.

Developed from the original project blog, the site will act as a knowledge base and discussion forum for the project.

Invited participants in the microgrid project will be encouraged to register and use the website as an online forum to assist in the development of the three year £5m pilot scheme currently under consideration with the Northwest Regional Development Agency.

The Horizon Microgrid site will act as a hub for the proof of concept and research and development work that will form the core of the proposed three year pilot to trial a microgrid amongst regional social housing providers.
